Morning Star Offset Printers
On January 21, 1999 a Printing Section under the name AREDS POWER PRINTS was started at SWATE Complex, Veerarakiam. For Administrative convenience, the name was changed as MORNING STAR OFFSET PRINTERS.

Establishment of the Printing Section.
It has its office at SWATE Complex, with advanced machinery and experienced personnel to handle them. Four youth have developed their skills in machine operation, printing, binding etc. They have also obtained permanent employment opportunities through this facility.

Types of Printing done
MORNING STAR OFFSET PRINTERS undertakes printing of Notices, Invitations, Bulletins, Newsletters, Letter pads, Receipts, Vouchers, Bill books, donation books, stickers, labels, Pass books for SWATE, PDM and such others.

1. Creating awareness among them can develop society or the people. Awareness can be brought to them by making them conscious of the social, economic and political structure to which they belong by educating them and giving them necessary study materials.

2. Knowledge can be gained by reading Books, Magazines and Documents.

3. One’s expression or view can be known to all by publishing it.

For all the above causes, the Printing Section plays a dominant and prominent role. Morning Star Offset Printers plays a vital role in disseminating information to the concerned people on time. It functions as an auxiliary as well as self-sustaining programme for AREDS by creating awareness among the people to uplift their standard of living.
The above mentioned units are being made economically viable in order to sustain the employment opportunities of the people as well as the ongoing activities of the organization and the people's movements through the profits made by these units.
